Submit the Application
If you have applied to Central Piedmont or taken a class here before, you do not need to apply again. If you don't remember your student ID number, username, or if you might already be in our system, please first contact a student success navigator.
If you are not in our records, complete the Central Piedmont admissions application. You will be asked to choose an academic and career pathway. An academic advisor will help you choose a specific program later.
Once you've submitted your application, contact a student success navigator to be moved forward in the process. Otherwise, we will email you or contact you by phone within one or two business days to confirm your application.
Activate Your Central Piedmont Login
After we reach you to confirm your application, you can activate your account.
If you have your username and still can't activate your account, please call the Service Desk or contact a student success navigator for help.
Access Your Central Piedmont Email
Your Central Piedmont student email is the official way the college will communicate with you about your classes, events, and more. Once you have a Central Piedmont login, log in to your email online or from the mobile app. Check your email at least once a day.
Optional: Attend Orientation
Once we have your official transcripts, you can attend orientation. If you do not plan to earn a degree or transfer from Central Piedmont, you can have the orientation and advising requirements waived so that you can register for classes.
Contact a student success navigator with questions or to have these requirements waived.
Optional: Apply for Financial Aid
In order to use financial aid for Central Piedmont courses, you need to be added to a Central Piedmont program. Contact a student success navigator if you want to be added to one of our programs so you can use financial aid.
If so, complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (2022-2023 FAFSA). Financial aid includes Pell Grants, other grants, scholarships, and Veterans Affairs Education Benefits (such as the GI Bill®). Central Piedmont does not offer direct student loans. Eligible students include U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens.
When you complete your FAFSA, make sure to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool link in the financial information section, if you are eligible. Our school code is 002915. Once we process your FAFSA, check in MyCollege by selecting Financial Aid. Review the page to find out if you have a financial aid counselor assigned, and to review your required documents.
